Opening Ceremony of Authorized Service points in Hokkaido

SF Express Japan had a grand opening ceremony for its newly opened authorized service points in Sapporo, Hokkaido on the afternoon of 9 April. The guests attending the ceremony included Simon Truss, General Manager of SF Express Japan, Takuya Hashimoto, Sales & Marketing Manager of SF Express Japan, and Yoki Tanaka, General Manager of R-field Co., Ltd. Hokkaido Branch. The ceremony attracted about 20 local customers to witness this important moment of SF Express Japan.
SF Express Japan sets up two service points in Hokkaido in cooperation with R-field in the region. This cooperation aims to provide comprehensive logistics services, by making full use of each other’s strengths, to local individual customers as well as China-Japan cross-border e-commerce enterprises and Chinese tourists, whilst also aiming to provide cross border cold chain solutions.
In his speech at the ceremony, General Manager Simon Truss said, “In recent years, Hokkaido has been attracting more and more Chinese tourists and businesses because of its beautiful natural sceneries, the world-known winter snows and ski resorts, as well as its tasty foods. We are here not only to serve the huge tourists from China, but to provide direct shipping service of high quality seafood and dairy products from Hokkaido to Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.”
Takuya Hashimoto also expressed positive expectations at this promising businessin Hokkaido. He said, “According to data from Hokkaido, the total number of Chinese visitors coming to Hokkaido was 660,000 in 2018, and the number is expected to be 1,500,000in 2020, more than double of that last year. We are confident that we will be able to provide the SF level of service to the tourists in Japan as we do in China.”
Mr. Tanaka from R-field also expressed his positive expectations for this partnership with SF Express Japan. “SF Express is a well-known comprehensive logistics company in China. As a Japanese company engaged in international trade, we use SF Express frequently to send our shipments to China. By working with SF Express Japan, the whole end to end service will be handled under the SF brand, with the SF quality providing the best for our customers.”
The two service points in Hokkaido provide both pickup and drop off services at its service counter. To better cater to the Chinese consumers, the service points areboth Chinese and Japanese capable. Free packing service, WeChat pay and Alipay payment services are available to provide a hassle-free service for casual users. In addition, large-sized and heavy shipment services are also provided in the service points to meet various needs from the local consumers.

To celebrate the opening of the Hokkaido service points, SF Express Japan is having acampaign at the ② service point located in Tanukikouji shopping district. During 9 April to 30 April, customers who visit our ② service point and drop off their shipments can receive a shipping coupon of 100 yen for shipments heading towards South Korea, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau.
