The National ICT Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) recently held the nation’s long awaited #MYCYBERSALE festival in collaboration with the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC); this online sales festival lasted for five days. Just like the “Double 11” Day in China and Black Friday, this event aims to fulfill consumers’ desires to purchase online goods, as well as boost revenues for e-commerce merchants.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the #MYCYBERSALE festival was held, and this year the festival has expanded its scope. According to data from PIKOM, around 1,000 e-commerce merchants attended this year’s #MYCYBERSALE festival, and nearly 50% are involved with cross-border e-commerce. Aside from e-commerce platforms, this year the festival partnered with more local service providers to provide industry knowledge, options, and advantages for both merchants and consumers. Partners include payment platforms, marketplace platforms, and logistics services companies. This year, as a #MYCYBERSALE Premier Logistics Partner, SF Express Malaysia joined the festival’s large network for the first time. SF Express is confident in the development of the e-commerce industry in Malaysia and one of the objectives of this partnership is to encourage local merchants to expand internationally.

SF Express has been expanding its service coverage and now outbound delivery services from SF Express Malaysia cover the following countries: Greater China region, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei, etc. What’s more, a domestic service was launched in August 2017.
