This year has marked a series of key milestones in S.F. Express’ rapid expansion. In February, S.F. Express, China’s premier express delivery provider became a publicly-listed company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and is using the proceeds to help fuel its further expansion. Now our team is proud to announce the grand opening of a brand new, state-of-the-art 53,738 sq. ft. logistics-processing and warehouse center in Hawthorne, CA. The new location will be essential to supporting our rapidly expanding U.S. business, and is designed to serve a comprehensive set of needs, assisting our B2B, B2C, C2C, and cross-border e-commerce clients with dedicated sorting and dispatching.
Patrick Frith, General Manager for the Americas Region, disclosed that the location will house part of West Americas Region customer service, coastal sales, operations, and warehouse teams. S.F. Express is currently operating multiple several facilities in the United States, recently locating its local headquarters to New York City.
The grand opening featured a ceremonial lion and dragon dance. A number of key customers attended the celebration as well, and the opening ceremony emanated positive energy amongst both employees and customers. During the event, a cake designed in the image of one of our 40 737 cargo aircraft was presented to the audience.
