Notice on Temporary Emergency Surcharge

Due to the recent cancellations of some international flights, shortage in resources on international routes leads to rise of costs; SF International will start charging Temporary Emergency Surcharge. Consider the demand of Chinese organizations, enterprises and individuals, for medical and epidemic prevention supplies shipping from China to overseas, all International Standard Express and International Standard Express+ export shipments with less than 5kg will not be charged.
Detailed Temporary Emergency Surcharge arrangement as below:
- Export from Mainland China and Hong Kong, Macau regions to overseas countries:
- Effective Date: From 06:00, 23 March 2020 to 23:00, 5 April 2020 (Beijing Time)
- Effective Products:
- International Economy Express (EE): All weight segments
- International Standard Express (SE) and International Standard Express+ (SE+): ≥5kg
(International Standard Express and International Standard Express+ shipments under 5kg will not be charged for Temporary Emergency Surcharge.)
- Direction: All directions of exports from Mainland China and Hong Kong, Macau regions to overseas
- Customer Types: Credit account and cash customers (including paid by shipper, receiver and third party)
- Temporary Emergency Surcharge:
- Export from Mainland China: RMB 6.5 /kg
- Export from Hong Kong region: HKD 7 /kg
- Export from Macau region: MOP 7 /kg
(Paid by receiver: converted into local currency according to the monthly exchange rates stated on SF official website)
- Export from Malaysia to Mainland China and Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan regions:
- Effective Date: From 06:00, 23 March 2020 to 23:00, 5 April 2020 (Kuala Lumpur Time)
- Effective Products: International Express Products (International Standard Express and International Economy Express): All weight segments
- Direction: Export from all territories of Malaysia to Mainland China and Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan regions
- Customer Types: Credit account and cash customers (including paid by shipper, receiver and third party)
- Temporary Emergency Surcharge:
- Export from Malaysia to Mainland China: MYR 1 /kg
- Export from Malaysia to Hong Kong, Macau regions: MYR 1.7 /kg
- Export from Malaysia to Taiwan region: MYR 2.4 /kg
