10th Authorized Service Point set up in Okinawa

On 16th July 2019, SF Express Japan set up another Authorized Service Point in Okinawa, the most south island in Japan. The grant opening ceremony was held on the day at the service point located in Naha City.
This authorized service point is the 10th service point SF Express Japan has established. SF Express Japan worked with its partners Yurite Co., Ltd. and Okinawa Seino Transportation Co., Ltd. this time, to provide one-stop international express service to local customers and Chinese tourists to Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
The guests attending the opening ceremony included Simon Truss, General Manager of SF Express Japan, Naoya Matsukawa, Okinawa Seino Super Express Co., Ltd., and Botao Zhou, CEO of Yurite Co., Ltd. Over 20 client representatives also attended the ceremony.
The GM of SF Express Japan Simon Truss introduced: “For Chinese customers, Okinawa is the No. 4 travel destinations after Tokyo, Osaka and Hokkaido. Meanwhile on the policy side, visa application for Okinawa has been favorable to Chinese tourists. As long as they make their first stay in Okinawa and spend one night here, then they can have a multiple entry visa to Japan for 3 years. According to data from JNTO, tourists who visited Okinawa from Chinese Mainland in 2018 reached 690,000, Taiwan and Hong Kong 920,000 and 230,000 respectively. All these factors laid the foundation for us to establish the service point here. What’s more, we have our long-term partner Seino Super Express and Yurite this time; I believe our high quality international service will benefit both tourists and local merchants.”
Simon Truss also stated that with the establishment of service point in Okinawa, SF Express Japan will continue to serve the Chinese tourists with the same quality in China.
Botao Zhou, CEO of Yurite Co., Ltd. also expressed his confidence in SF Express. He mentioned that by working closely with SF Express and Seno and improving efficiency for every section, “we can definitely meet customers’ need for international express service.”
Same as other authorized service points in Japan, at Naha service point, customers can drop off shipments at the service point during service hours. Free packing materials and packing service, and Mandarin speaking staff are available. In addition, large-sized and heavy shipment services are also provided to meet various needs from the local consumers.
