Reminder on Collection of Temporary Emergency Surcharge

Dear customers,
Due to the recent cancellations of some International flights, resources are limited and costs are increased for International routes, SF International hereby announces to collect temporary emergency surcharges. In consideration of the demand of Chinese organizations, enterprises and individuals for medical and epidemic prevention supplies sent from China to overseas, all International Standard Express and International Standard Express+ export products that are under 5kg will not be charge for temporary emergency surcharges.
The detailed temporary emergency surcharges are below:
I.Effective date and applicable products for collection of temporary emergency surcharge – export from China to overseas countries:
Effective Date: From 06:00, March 23rd, 2020 to 23:00, April 5th, 2020 (Beijing Time)
Effective Products:
International Economy Express (EE): All weight segments
International Standard Express (SE) and International Standard Express+ (SE+): ≥5kg
(International Standard Express and International Standard Express+ products under 5kg will not be charge for temporary emergency surcharges.)
Direction: All directions of exports from Mainland China and Hong Kong to overseas
Customer Types: Credit account and cash customers, including shipper pay, receiver pay and third party pay.
Temporary Emergency Surcharges:
Export from Mainland China: 6.5 RMB/kg
Export from Hong Kong, China: 7 HKD/kg,
(Receiver pay: converted to local currency according to the exchange rate of the month on the official website)
II.Effective date and applicable products for collection of temporary emergency surcharge – export from Malaysia to China:
Effective Date: From 06:00, March 23rd, 2020 to 23:00, April 5th, 2020 (Kuala Lumpur Time)
Effective Products:
International Express Products (Standard Express, International Standard Express+, and International Economy Express): All weight segments. Export from all territories of Malaysia to Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Customer Types: Credit account and cash customers, including shipper pay, receiver pay and third party pay.
Temporary Emergency Surcharge: 1 MYR/kg from Malaysia to Mainland China; 1.7 MYR/kg from Malaysia to Hong Kong and Macau; 2.4 MYR/kg from Malaysia to Taiwan.
