SF EcoSmart Shipping Bag Recycling Reward Programme
Go Green and Earn SFHK Member Points
SFHK always places great emphasis on corporate social responsibility. Starting from 8 April 2024, SFHK officially launches the "SF EcoSmart Shipping Bag Recycling Reward Programme". During the first phase, "SF EcoSmart Shipping Bag Recycling Cabinet" will be placed in 6 SF Stores for the public to recycle used "SF Shipping Bags", and "SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bags" will be launched with this program, which will be further sorted and recycled. To encourage active participation by the public, SFHK APP member points will be earned for each collected packaging plastic bag with an eligible waybill number, which can be used to redeem various rewards.
SF EcoSmart Shipping Bag Recycling Cabinet:
● Used "SF Shipping Bags" or "SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bags" can be collected at the "SF EcoSmart Shipping Bag Recycling Cabinet" at 6 designated SF Stores. 50 SFHK APP member points* will be received for each successfully collected and qualified "SF Shipping Bag" with an eligible waybill number.
● In order to promote social sustainability and enhance recycling effectiveness, SFHK has cooperated with local social enterprise V Cycle. Those collected "SF Shipping Bags" and "SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bags" will be sorted and transformed into raw materials for upgrading to various products.
SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bag:
● Customers can purchase the "SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bags" as packaging material when sending parcels at SF Business Stations or SF Stores. The "SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bags" have been certified with the "SGS Green Label" by authoritative testing organization SGS. Please scan the QR code on the back of the bag to learn more.
● "SF Eco-friendly Shipping Bags" are charged at HK$1.00 each for all sizes, and the proceeds will be used to support SFHK’s development of more alternatives and environmental projects that contribute to the sustainable social development.
