Kindly Reminder of Transit Time Affected by No.20 Typhoon Trami

 

Dear Customers,

According to the blue alert of typhoon issued by the National Meteorological Center of CMA on October 24, 2024:

The center of the No. 20 Typhoon Trami of the year will move towards the sea surface of the east of the South China Sea at the night of October 24 with gradually increasing intensity up to severe tropical storm or typhoon. It will move east on the morning of October 28 with gradually diminishing intensity. It is estimated that there will be gust of scale 8 to 10 in the coastal areas of Hainan, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Taiwan and so on and Dongsha Islands and there will be gust of scale 11 to 12 in coasts of central Fujian, west of Taiwan Island and parts of the South of Taiwan Island. There will be heavy rain to rainstorm in northeast of Taiwan Island and there will be downpour in part of the areas.

Affected by the weather, the shipping service may be suspended in Qiongzhou Strait, the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced and part of the highways may be closed. The transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent. SF will pay close attention to the weather, allocate resources properly and guarantee safe delivery of the shipments. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you!
