Kindly Reminder on Shipment Transit Time Affected by the Fourth Typhoon (Danas)

Dear Customers,

According to the typhoon warning issued by the National Meteorological Center of CMA on July 5:

The center of Danas, the fourth typhoon of the year, was located approximately 355 kilometers southwest of Taiwan’s Cape Eluanbi, over the northeastern waters of the South China Sea at 17:00 of July 5. It is expected to move in a north-northeasterly direction at a speed of around 10 kilometers per hour, with its intensity gradually increasing. It may reach typhoon strength (Category 12-13). It is projected to approach the coastal areas between the southwestern part of Taiwan island and northern Fujian Province.

It is estimated that there will be heavy rain to rainstorm in part of the areas of Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang and Taiwan, and there will be downpour in part of the areas.

Affected by the weather, the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced and part of the highways may be closed. The transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent. SF will pay close attention to the weather, allocate resources properly and guarantee safe delivery of the shipments. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you!
