Kindly Reminder on Shipment Transit Time Affected by the No. 6th Typhoon Wipha

According to the yellow alert of typhoon issued by China’s national observatory on July 18, 2025:
Tropical Storm Wipha, the sixth typhoon of the year, is centered over the sea about 510 kilometers northwest of Manila, Philippines, at 8 a.m. today (July 18th). It is forecast to move west by north at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour, with gradually increasing intensity. Wipha is expected to intensify to typhoon or severe typhoon strength (Beaufort scale 13-14). It will gradually approach coasts of the north of the South China Sea from the early morning to the morning of July 19, then it may move closer to the coasts from central Guangdong to the east of Hainan Island.
It is estimated that there will be heavy rain to torrential rain and strong winds in part of the areas such as Hainan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian, Hong Kong and and Taiwan.
Affected by the weather, the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced. The shipping service will be suspended in Qiongzhou Strait, and part of the highways may be closed. The transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent.
