Kindly Reminder of Transit Time of Shipments Affected by Recent Abnormal Weather

According to the orange alert for rainstorms issued by China’s national observatory:

It is forecast that on July 29 and July 30, there may be heavy rain to torrential rain in parts of the areas in Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Shandong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi and Taiwan. Meanwhile, there may be downpour in the south of Heilongjiang, central Jinlin, the central and north of Liaoning, southeast of Jiangsu, Shanghai, northeast of Zhejiang, and south of Taiwan Island and heavy downpour in part of the areas (250-300mm). There will be short-time heavy rainfall in part of the areas mentioned above (with the maximum hourly rainfall ranging from 20 to 50mm, exceeding 80 mm in part of the areas). There will be strong convection weather such as thunderstorm and gale in parts of the areas.

Affected by the weather, highway may be closed, and the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced. Emergencies such as torrential flood, landslide and debris flow may occur. The transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent. SF will pay close attention to the weather, allocate resources properly and guarantee safe delivery of the shipments. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you!
