Kindly Reminder of Transit Time of Shipments Affected by Recent Abnormal Weather

According to the orange alert for rainstorms issued by China’s national observatory:

It is estimated that on August 4 and August 5, there may be heavy rain to torrential rain in parts of the areas in Qinghai, Gansu, Sha’anxi, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Henan, Shandong, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, Fujian, Yunnan, Taiwan Island and so on. Meanwhile, there may be downpour in part of the areas in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Fujian, Guangxi, Guangdong and Hong Kong. There may be heavy downpour in south of Hebei, east of Guangxi and coastal areas of Guangdong (250-300mm). There will be strong convection weather such as thunderstorm and gale in parts of the areas.

Affected by the weather, highways may be closed, the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced. Emergencies such as torrential flood, landslide and debris flow may occur. The transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent. SF will pay close attention to the weather, allocate resources properly and guarantee safe delivery of the shipments. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you!
