Kindly Reminder on Shipment Transit Time Affected by Typhoon Podul, the 11th Typhoon of the Year

According to the yellow alert of typhoon issued by China’s national observatory on August 12, 2025:
Typhoon Podul (Severe Tropical Storm), the 11th typhoon of the year was centered approximately 780 kilometers east-southeast of Taidong, Taiwan, on the northwest of the Pacific Pacific Ocean at 5:00 a.m. on August 12. It is forecast to move westward at the speed of 25 kilometers per hour with increasing intensity and Typhoon Podul may become a severe typhoon (Beaufort force 14-15 winds). Typhoon Podul will make landfall along the coasts of southeast of Taiwan around midday on August 13 (typhoon or severe typhoon, Beaufort force 13-14 winds), enter the Taiwan Strait after passing through Taiwan Island with diminished strength. It will make second landfall between the night of August 13 and the early morning of August 14 along the coastal areas from south of Fujian Province to east of Guangdong (Severe Tropical Storm: Beaufort force 10-11 winds), with gradually weaken strength after landing.
It is estimated that there will be heavy rain to torrential rain and gale in part of the areas such as Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi and Hunan.
Affected by the weather, the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced and part of the highways may be closed. The transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent.
