Kindly Reminder on Shipment Transit Time Affected by the No. 13 Typhoon Kajiki

Dear customers:

According to the orange alert of typhoon issued by China’s National Observatory on August 25:

The center of the 13th typhoon of the year, Kajiki (severe typhoon), has moved from the central and western part of South China Sea into Beibu Gulf early this morning (August 25). It was located about 230 kilometers east of Vinh of Vietnam, over the southern sea of the Beibu Gulf at 5:00 a.m. this morning. The maximum wind force near the center is 14 on the Beaufort scale (45 meters per second). It is expected that Kajiki will move in a west-north direction at a speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour with little change in intensity. It will make landfall in coastal areas of Vinh of Vietnam from evening to night, and then its intensity will rapidly weaken.

It is expected that strong winds and heavy to torrential rain will occur in Hainan, Guangxi, the coastal areas of western Guangdong, central and northern Vietnam, Laos, northern Thailand, eastern Cambodia and central Myanmar, with some areas will have heavy downpour.

As affected by the foregoing, the airports might have their traffic capacity reduced and Qiongzhou Strait will be closed to navigation. The transit time of shipments in and out of related areas might be affected to certain extent, and SF will pay close attention to the weather conditions and allocate resources reasonably to make sure that your shipments are delivered safely. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you!
