A Kind Reminder Regarding the Impact of the "Tropical Depression in the South China Sea" on Express Transit Time
Dear Customer:
The Central Meteorological Observatory of CMA issued a typhoon forecast at 18:00 on July 1st, indicating that:
The center of the tropical depression in the South China Sea was located at 5:00 PM today (July 1st) approximately 790 kilometers east by south of Wanning City, Hainan Province, in the eastern part of the South China Sea. It is expected that the depression will move west by north at a speed of 15-20 kilometers per hour, gradually intensifying and developing into a typhoon within the next 24 hours. It is expected to make landfall along the coast from eastern Hainan Island to western Guangdong Province on the afternoon or evening of July 3rd (strong tropical storm level), then cross Hainan Island and move into the Beibu Gulf, approaching the coast of Guangxi to the northern coast of Vietnam, gradually weakening. Heavy to torrential rain and strong winds are expected in Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan in the near future.
Due to the above impacts, airport capacity is expected to decrease, some highways and ports will be closed, and the delivery time for express shipment in and out of the affected areas will be longer than usual. Please pay attention and make arrangements for receiving and sending your express shipment in advance.
Our company will closely monitor weather changes and traffic conditions, and coordinate all available emergency resources, including manpower and transportation capacity, to ensure the smooth and orderly transfer of packages and deliver them as soon as conditions improve.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding, support, and patience!
