Warm Reminder: Impact of Typhoon Bavi (9th Typhoon of the Year) on Shipment Transit Time
Dear customers:
The center of Typhoon Bavi (No.9, Super Typhoon) was located approximately 1,430 kilometers southeast of Keelung, Taiwan at 5 p.m. on July 8. Forecasts indicate Bavi will track west-northwestward at 15-20 kilometers per hour and gradually approach the northeastern coast of Taiwan Island. It is expected to make landfall or skirt the northern coast of Taiwan Island in daytime on the 11th as a Super Typhoon or Severe Typhoon, then move toward the coastal areas from central Fujian to southern Zhejiang with gradual weakening intensity.
Affected by the typhoon, heavy rain to torrentail rainwill hit parts of Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Xizang, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian and Taiwan, with local torrential rain or extreme torrential rain. Transit time for shipments inbound to and outbound from the above regions may be delayed. Please arrange your shipments in advance accordingly.
