Kindly Reminder on Shipment Transit Time Affected by Typhoon Saudel, the 18th Typhoon of the Year

The National Meteorological Center renewed an orange typhoon alert on August 26. Saudel, the 18th typhoon of this year at severe-typhoon strength, moved into the East China Sea in the early hours of this day. At 5:00 a.m., its center was situated roughly 720 kilometers east of the Zhejiang-Fujian provincial border over the sea. It is forecast to move west-northwestward at around 15 kilometers per hour, with little change in its intensity. Starting from the early morning of the August 27, it will shift to a west-southwestward track, slow down and gradually approach the coastal areas of Zhejiang and Fujian. It is expected to make landfall along the coast stretching from Xiangshan in Zhejiang province to Fuqing in Fujian province between the night of August 27 and the morning of August 28. Affected by the typhoon, heavy to torrential rain and strong winds will hit parts of Jiangxi, Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong and Yunnan in the coming days, with localized extremely heavy or extraordinary torrential rain.
The transit time of inbound and outbound shipments of these areas may be affected. Please make arrangement for the shipping of shipments beforehand.
