Kindly Reminder of Transit Time Affected by Tropical Depression in South China Sea

 

Dear Customers, According to related information of the tropical depression issued by the National Meteorological Center of CMA on May 31: The center of tropical depression in South China Sea was on the coastal surface on the north of the South China Sea about 335 kilometers south of Yangjiang of Guangdong on the early morning of 5:00 a.m. today (May 51), it is expected that the tropical depression will move northeast at the speed of 15 to 20 kilometers per hour with intensifying strength. The tropical depression may be intensified into No.2 typhoon of this year, and will make landfall on coastal areas from Zhuhai to Dianbai in Guangdong Province, with the landfall strength of tropical depression or tropical storm. It is estimated that there will be heavy rain, rainstorm or downpour in parts of the areas of Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong and Hainan.   Affected by the above-mentioned weather, the shipping service may be suspended in Qiongzhou Strait. Part of the highways may be closed, the traffic capacity of airports may be reduced and the transit time of shipments in and out of the alerted areas will be affected to certain extent.
