Machinery Equipment Solutions

Focusing on the machinery and equipment industry, SF addresses its typical challenges: bulky finished units, a wide variety of precision components, geographically scattered projects, stringent requirements for fast after-sales maintenance, complex supply-demand scheduling and growing demand for global expansion. SF delivers tailored end-to-end supply chain solutions covering component inbound distribution, nationwide intelligent line haul planning, smart deployment of global regional spare parts warehouses, direct worldwide cross-border delivery and reverse after-sales maintenance. Centered on intelligent warehouse network layout, unified inventory management, full-chain IoT visibility and intelligent demand forecasting, SF bridges information gaps across the industrial chain. It helps enterprises cut logistics and inventory costs, improve inventory turnover efficiency and delivery lead time, shorten after-sales response cycles, and strengthen global supply chain collaboration and risk resistance capability.

Solution Advantages

Digital intelligence empowers businesses to lower capital tied up in logistics and inventory

Leveraging intelligent warehouse network planning, overall intelligent inventory planning and intelligent long haul scheduling capabilities, SF integrates network-wide transportation and warehousing resources to optimize warehouse layout and transportation routes.

Demand forecasting powers smart inventory allocation to cut excess stock and slow-moving inventory. It lowers total costs covering warehouse rental, line haul transportation and human resources management, activates idle inventory assets, eases capital tie-up and delivers end-to-end cost savings across the supply chain.

End-to-end visibility and control enhance delivery and turnover efficiency

Leveraging IoT monitoring systems and the full life cycle visibility platform, SF enables real-time tracking and automated exception alerts for finished equipment and precision parts throughout transit, warehouse-in, warehouse-out and on-site delivery.

Intelligent demand forecasting dynamically balances supply and demand, speeding up spare parts turnover and order fulfillment. This guarantees timely delivery of projects and resolves industry challenges including variable delivery lead times and disconnected processes.

Accelerate after-sales maintenance and enhance end-customer service experience

Leveraging the intelligent global spare parts warehousing network, SF positions inventory close to end markets to enable rapid local allocation and delivery. SF also establishes a standardized one-stop system covering reverse maintenance, returns and replacements.

SF forms a full closed-loop process covering spare parts dispatch, door-to-door delivery, used parts collection and factory repair. This greatly cuts after-sales waiting time, improves equipment maintenance and emergency repair efficiency, and helps enterprises build a solid reputation for premium end-user services.

Global supply chain collaboration builds solid resilience for overseas operations against risks

SF integrates cross-border logistics resources and delivers integrated services including global regional warehouse network deployment, direct cross-border delivery and international supply chain coordination.

SF eliminates data barriers in domestic and global industrial chains to interconnect inventory, order and logistics data. It allows businesses to optimize global supply and demand planning, avoid risks from regional transport capacity, customs clearance and supply chain volatility, and supports machinery enterprises in global expansion and risk mitigation.

Customer Cases
SF has built digital and intelligent spare parts warehousing and distribution services for leading construction machinery clients

The client faced multiple operational challenges: a spare parts in-stock rate of only 50%, an average inventory turnover cycle of 3.7 months, inefficient warehouse network layout and unsatisfactory delivery performance.

Based on the client’s existing setup of 1 central warehouse and 7 regional warehouses, 2,000 spare part SKUs and delivery requirements for nearly 1,000 industrial customers, SF leverages big data algorithms on SFT SCS to analyze annual operational data. SF redesigns the network of central and forward warehouses and implemented intelligent forecasting, replenishment and scheduling systems.

The project yielded outstanding results: the 48-hour on-time delivery rate for spare parts rose by over 20% to more than 92%. The in-stock rate increased to 75%, the turnover cycle was shortened to 2.2 months, and the overall inventory optimization rate reached 40%, delivering comprehensive efficiency gains and cost reductions across the supply chain.
